Indian Army invites unmarried Males fro 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme for Permanent Commission. Last Dt. 30/06/2013

Indian Army is inviting application for the Permanent Commission – 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme, Course – 30 commencing from Jan 2014. Only unmarried Male candidates who have done  10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics may apply. INDIAN ARMY, PERMANENT COMMISSION, IS INVITING APPLICATION FROM UNMARRIED MALES FOR 10+2 TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME, COURSE-30 COMMENCING FROM JAN 2014. APPLY ONLINE FROM 21/05 TO 30/06/2013.

10+2 (Technical Entry Scheme) Entry Permanent Commission 
Number of Vacancies: 85 Nos.

Educational Qualification: HS/ 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have obtained minimum 70% marks.

Age Limit:  Candidates must be not be born before 01 Jul 1994 and not after 01 Jul 1997 (both days inclusive).

Only unmarried Male candidates with above mentioned eligibility are eligible to apply for the vacancies. Selected candidates will go for four years Basic Military Training and Technical Training.
Total training period will be of 5 years. The entire cost of training including books and reading material is borne by the Army. Cadets are also provided with free accommodation and messing. Refer the Advt. for details (link given below).

Selection Steps: Short listed candidates will be called for Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at Bhopal, Bangalore or Allahabad. Interviews will be held in Aug/Sep 2013 onwards.
Duration of SSB interviews is five days excluding day of arrival. During their stay at SSB, Candidates are put through psychological Test, Group test and Interviews. Successful candidates at the SSB will be required to undergo medical test.
Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available.

Pay Scale: The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. ( i.e. Rs. 15600 plus Grade pay of Rs.5400/-)plus other allowances. On completion of 4 Years training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank

After submitting the form an acknowledgement with a Roll number will be provided to the candidate.
After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain two copies of the application printout and the Roll Number generated by the system. One copy of the print out application duly Signed and affixed photograph attested by a gazatted officer of Central/State Govt. Photocopies of Class 10th Certificate/Mark sheet showing date of birth and 12th Class Certificate along with mark sheets duly attested by Gazetted officer are to be forwarded to "Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TES Section, West Block-III, R.K puram, New Delhi- 110066" by Regd Post or Speed Post.

Eye Sight: Minimum distance vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 both eyes without glasses and they should possess high colour vision.
The Candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high color vision. Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Selection of the candidates will be through – Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Medical Examination.
(a) Physical efficiency Test : There will be 05 Kilometres race to be completed within 24 minutes.
(b) Written Test : The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice question. The question paper will consist of 100 marks to be attempted in 2 hours.
(c) Medical examination will be conducted as per BSF Medical Manual.

The eligible/willing male candidates can participate to Physical/Education Training (pre-recruiting training) for guidance-cum training for appearing in Special Recruitment Rallies to be conducted w.e.f. 22nd April' 2013 to 21st May' 2013 at their nearest BSF HQ at free of cost.

N.B: The participation of pre-recruiting training programme is optional. Candidates who have not take part or unable to take parts are also eligible to appear on the Recruitment Rally which is going to be on 27th May 2013.

Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade. Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks. Applicable to Gen, OBC and ST category (Pass marks in case of SC candidates)
Experience: 2 years for Diploma holder and 3 years for ITI holder in maintenance of rotary equipment like Compressors, Gas/ Steam turbines, Pumps etc. and Stationary equipment like Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Piping etc. in any industry.

Reservation of posts for SC/ST OBC and PWD candidates is as per govt. norms. 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years as on 31.05.2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.

Candidates' Selection: Selection will be through Written Test/Trade Test/ Personal Interview. The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness successfully.
