West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Kolkata, is recruiting 53 candidates for the various below listed posts in different Thalassaemia Control Units of different Districts across the State on contractual basis. WEST BENGAL STATE HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE SAMITI, KOLKATA, REQUIRES 53 MEDICAL OFFICER, COUNSELLOR, LAB TECH., DEO AND LAB ATTENDANT. LAST DATE — 27/08/2013.

1. Medical Officer: 10 Nos.

2. Counsellor: 7 Nos.

4. GNM Staff Nurse: 24 Nos.

5. Data Entry Operator: 4 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline and Diploma course in Computer Application. Experience of handling with data of patients is desirable.

6. Laboratory Attendant: 1 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass and capable to read and write in English and Bengali with 3 years experience in Pathological laboratory.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,200/- per month

Age Limit: Maximum 40yrs as on 01-07-2013. Maximum 60yrs for the post of GNM Staff Nurse. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC is as per rules and norms.
Reference will be given to the candidates who have higher qualification and higher experience in the field.

The engagement to the above are on contractual basis. The initial contract period will be of One year which may later be extended upon performance of the candidates and on sole discretion of the Authority.
