The discipline are — Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist, Instrument, MMTM, Painter, R & AC Mechanic, Welder and etc. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and brief details are as follows — NAVAL DOCKYARD APPRENTICES SCHOOL, VISAKHAPATNAM, INVITES APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN VARIOUS DISCIPLINE. LAST DATE — 16/12/2013 Name of the trades and No. of vacancies — 1. Electrician: 20 Nos. 2. Electronics Mechanic: 25 Nos. 3. Fitter: 21 Nos. 4. Instrument Mechanic: 14 Nos. 5. Machinist: 19 Nos. 6. Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM): 7 Nos. 7. Painter (General): 17 Nos. 8. R & A/C Mechanic: 10 Nos. 9. Welder (Gas & Electric): 19 Nos. N.B: Reservation of the posts for reserved categories and PH candidates is as per norms. Educational Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10) pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and ITI trade certificate in relevant trades with minimum 65% marks in aggregate. Age Limit: between 21yrs to 28yrs as on 15/04/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms. Physical Standard of the candidates — Height—137cms, Weight (minimum)—25.4 Kg and other standards as per apprentices norms. Stipend during Training period: Rs.1700/-, Rs.1970/-, Rs.2200 per month depending upon the period of apprenticeship training. Candidates' Selection: Selection will be through Written Examination and Interview followed by Medical Examination. Written Examination will be objective type based on Mathematics, General Science and General Knowledge. Call letter will be sent to the shortlisted candidates and exact date and venue will be intimated through it. Tentative date of Written Examination is – 21/01/2014. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format alongwith attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification (Certificate and Mark sheets), Trade certificate (Certificate and Mark sheets), Caste certificate, Residence proof (Voter ID card/ Ration card/ Passport or Aadhar card) and any other relevant documents.
