Indian Air Force Jobs for 10th class qualification

Those with 10th class qualification can find musician jobs in the Group-Y division.
Eligibility: Along with 10thclass certification should have proficiency in either keyboard / guitar / violin / saxophone/ jazz drum / sarod / veena / nada swaram
Age limit:17 to 25 years to the specified date
Selection:  Written test and a musical exam with the instrument. In the written test English dictation is tested and along with that the candidate proficiency is tested in the musical instrument. Indian Air Force Jobs for 10+2 qualification

Every year Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA & NA) to recruit flying officers in the Indian Air Force.

Careers in Indian Air ForceEligibility: 10+2 with Mathematics and physics and only unmarried males are eligible to apply
Age limit:16 ½ to 19 years to the specified date
Selection process:Written test and intelligence & personality test
Written test pattern:Two papers are given 1. Mathematics (300 marks) and 2. General ability test (600 marks). In the second paper general ability test there are two sections like Part A and Part B. In Part-A English questions carry 200 marks and in Part B general knowledge questions carry 400 marks. All questions are given in objective method. There is negative marking for wrong answers. Each paper duration is 2 ½ hours.

Recruitment Notification:Twice in a year (May, December)


Airmen jobs:
In Indian air force every year to fill up the vacancies of airmen jobs selections are conducted in group X and group Y divisions.

Eligibility - Group-X (except Educational Instructor): 10+2 pass out with 50% marks in Mathematics, physics and English. 50% marks is mandatory in English. Else one should have completed 3 years diploma in (mechanical/electrical/electronic/automobile/computer science/instrumentation technology/information technology) with 50% marks.

Age limit:17 to 21 years within the specified date

Group Y (Except Musicians, Medical Assistant): 50% marks in 10+2 with any group and 50% marks are mandatory in English.

Age limit:17 to 21 years within the specified date

Group Y (Medical Assistant): with 50% marks in physics/chemistry/ biology/ English 10+2 pass out.
Selection: Selection across the country with exam, recruitment rally and interview basis. There is a trade test for those applying in technical divisions.

Written test:Group X (Technical division) shall have test in English, physics and mathematics. Exam duration 1 hour (60 minutes). Group Y (non technical) shall have questions on English, reasoning and general awareness. Test duration 45 minutes. All questions are given in multiple choice. Questions are asked on 10+2 level syllabus.

Indian Air Force Jobs for B.Ed. qualification

Those with related degree, post graduation and B.Ed. qualification can apply for education instructor jobs in group X.
Eligibility: Should qualify BEd with any degree with 50% marks. Should have 2 years experience in teaching else any PG degree with Bed qualification and 2 years teaching experience.
Age limit:Degree, BEd qualified 20 to 25 years. PG, BEd  qualified 20 to 28 years.
Selection: Written test, physical and medical examination.

IAF Flying branch

Those selected for this should be appointed as fighter pilot, helicopter pilot or transport pilot. Opportunities are created in flying branch through different methods. They are graduation, NCC special entry, NCC entry.

Any graduates can join the flying branch through the UPSC conducted Combined Defence Services Exam (CDSE).

Eligibility:

Unmarried
Only male candidates
Graduation / BE / BTech from recognized university. 10+2 should have been completed with Match and physics.

Notification: Twice in a year (June, October)

NCC special entry:
Those who have National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'C' certificate can join the flying branch through NCC special entry.

Eligibility:
Indian
Unmarried
Graduation with 60% marks from any recognized university. 10+2 with Maths and physics or 60% marks BE/BTech.
'C' certificate from NCC air wing senior division.
Age limit:19 to 23 years to the specified date
Application: Should apply to NCC Air squadrons/Director general, NCC.

NCC (Short Service Commission) Entry:
Both men and women are eligible for this NCC entry. Can join through the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).

Eligibility:
Should be Indians
Unmarried
Graduation with 60% marks from any recognized university. 10+2 with maths and physics. Else BE/B.Tech. with 60% marks.

Age limit:19 to 23 years to the specified date.
Recruitment Notification:For the Air Force Common Admission Test notification is released year in June and December.

IAF Ground duty branch

There are five departments in which there are vacancies.

Administrative branch:
In this branch the duties involve as air traffic controller and fighter controller.

Eligibility: Graduation with 60% marks else PG/Related degree with 50% marks.

Accounts branch:
Apart from organizing different financial matters have to work as an auditor.
Eligibility: B.Com with 60% marks or M.Com/CA/ICWA with 50% marks.

Logistics branch:
Those who have been selected for the logistics branch have to organize materials and equipments.
Eligibility: Graduation with 60% marks or PG/diploma in related subject with 50% marks.

Educational branch:
Eligibility: Post Graduation pass out with 50% marks.

Meteorology branch:
Those selected for this branch have to perform duties like giving suggestions to flight operators based on the climatic conditions and other duties.
Eligibility: With 50% marks and pass out in any science stream like PG/mathematics/statistics/geography/computer applications/environmental science/applied physics/oceanography/agriculturemeteorology/ecology and environment/geophysics/environmental biology. 55% marks in graduation with mathematics and physics subjects.

IAF Technical branch:

Those who have been selected for the technical branch have to perform duties like in charge to advanced equipment in the air force. There are two ways to find jobs in this division. They are university entry scheme (UES), aeronautical engineering course. For both divisions selection is based on air force common admission test.

University entry scheme:
Eligibility: Should be unmarried and only male candidates. Should be studying final year BE/B.Tech. in aeronautical engineering branch.
Age limit:18 to 28 years to the specified date.

Aeronautical Engineering Course:
Eligibility: Pass out in BE/B.Tech. Aeronautical Engineering and related branches with 60% marks. Male candidates are eligible for permanent commission and both male and female candidates are eligible for short service commission.
Selection: Air Force Common Admission Test.
Employment Notification:Every year in June and December.
