TRADE APPRENTICES
Number of Vacancies: 77 Nos.

Distribution of vacancies are per Trade wise were as follows—
1. Welder: 15 Nos. (SC—2; ST—2; OBC—3)
2. Diesel Mechanic: 8 Nos. (SC—2; ST—1; OBC—1)
3. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic: 2 Nos. (Gen)
4. Turner: 4 Nos. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
5. Fitter: 20 Nos. (SC—4; ST—3; OBC—4)
6. Electrician: 18 Nos. (SC—3; ST—2; OBC—4)
7. Electronic Mechanic: 6 Nos. (SC—1; ST—2; OBC—1)
8. Draughtsman (Mechanical): 2 Nos. (Gen)
9. Draughtsman (Civil): 2 Nos (Gen)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent or 10th Class pass.
Technical Qualification: ITI pass in the concerned trade.
N.B: Fresh ITI (NCTVT) passed candidates will be given preference.

The candidates who have passed prior to the year 2012, they should attach an Affidavit on Non judicial stamp paper duly attested by Magistrate or Notary Public to the effect that they have neither undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier nor have taken employment anywhere.

Name of the Post: FIREMAN-CUM-ENGINE DRIVER (TRAINEE)
Name of the Post: 08 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—0; ST—03; OBC—1). Out of them 1 reserved for Ex-Servicemen

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) pass with minimum 50% marks and shall possess valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.

Age: Minimum 18 yrs. and Maximum 28 yrs. as on 01/02/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Physical Standards of the candidates: —
Height — 165 cms.
Weight—50 kgs
Chest (Expanded/ Un-expanded)— 86.5cms/81cms.
Eye Sight — 6/6 without glassess
Colour Vision—  Normal.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties


Candidates selected as Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) will be placed on training for a minimum period of 2 (two) years which can be extended by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in S-1 grade. After successful completion of Training, Candidates shall be placed under probation for 1 year. Selected candidates will be paid consolidated pay during training period of Rs.8600/- and Rs.10000/- for first year and second year respectively.

Candidates' Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Ability Test/ Driving test and Interview. Date and venue will be intimated in due course.

Application and Processing Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fee with processing fee of Rs.150/- through any branch of State Bank of India by means of Pay in Slip (SBI Challan). The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
SC/ST candidates shall pay only Processing Fee of Rs.50/-. No Application Fee for SC/ST candidates.
