West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) is recruiting 971 Medical Technologist (Lab./ X-Ray/ EGC) Cadre of the West Bengal Sub-ordinate Health Services under Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of West Bengal. WEST BENGAL HEALTH RECRUITMENT BOARD REQUIRES 971 MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (LAB/ RADIOLOGIST/ EGC). LAST DATE — 10/03/2014

1. Medical Technologist (Lab) Grade- III
Number of Vacancies: 718 Nos. (Gen—373; SC—158; ST—43; BC-A—72; BC-B—50; PWD—22)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Laboratory Technologist
OR B.Sc with One year diploma course in Laboratory Technology.
Desirable — One year training after acquiring diploma in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Govt. Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment.  

2. Medical Technologist [X-Ray (Radiodiagnostics)], Grade-III
Number of Vacancies: 208 Nos. (Gen—107; SC—46; ST—13; BC-A—21; BC-B—15; PWD—6)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech).
Desirable— One year training after acquiring diploma in Radiography ( Diagnostics ) DRD (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment

3. Medical Technologist (ECG), Grade-III
Number of Vacancies: 45 Nos. (Gen—23; SC—10; ST—03; BC-A—05; BC-B—03; PWD—1)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma in ECG Technology.
Desirable — One year training after acquiring diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment OR Postgraduate diploma in ECG Technology from any recognized University. 

N.B: Candidates should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hills sub-division of Darjeeling District- viz. Darjeeling sadar, Kalimpong & Kurseong).

Age Limit: Candidates shall be minimum 18yrs and maximum 37yrs as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale (for all posts): Rs.37600 plus other allowances as per norms.

The engagement to the posts are temporary but likely to be permanent in future. The vacancies are for the West Bengal Sub-ordinate Health Services under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.

Sarva U.P. Gramin Bank is recruiting 216 candidates for the post of Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). SIKKIM POLICE REQUIRES 572 CONSTABLE (GD), CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL), DRIVERS AND FOLLOWER. LAST DATE — 20/03/2014

CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY)
Number of Vacancies: 450 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 pass in case of Open candidates and Class VIII pass in case of HG (Home Guards) candidates who are enrolled before 4.9.2012.

Physical Requirement (For all posts):
Male candidates: Height— 5.3ft; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)— 32/34cms; Weight— 50kgs (minimum)
Female Candidates: Height— 5ft; Weight— 45kgs (minimum); Chest—Not applicable

Candidates' Selection: The candidates will be selected through –
(a) Physical Measurement,
(b) Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET),
(c) Written Examination
(d) Skill Test (For Drivers and Followers) &
(e) Viva-voce.
