The Naval Dockyard Mumbai is inviting application for Apprenticeship Training in various Trades. The training will be of One year and Two year. Total vacancies—415 Nos. Candidates who have done ITI trade certificate course in relevant trades (see the list below) may apply for the vacancies. Training will be at Dockyard Apprentice School. One Year Apprenticeship Training in the following Trades —
1. Machinist: 40 Nos.
2. Fitter: 60 Nos.
3. Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 35 Nos.
4. Instrument Mechanic: 15 Nos.
5. Ref & A/C Mechanic: 5 Nos.
6. Electroplater: 5 Nos.
7. Welder: 20 Nos.
8. Painter General: 30 Nos.
9. Mason: 15 Nos.

Two Year Apprenticeship Training in the following Trades —
1. Diesel Mechanic: 20 Nos.
2. Foundryman: 5 Nos.
3. Mechanic Radio & Radar (Aircraft): 20 Nos.
4. Power Electrician: 20 Nos.
5. Shipwright Steel: 45 Nos.
6. Plumber/ Ship Fitter: 20 Nos.
7. Pipe Fitter: 15 Nos.
8. Shipwright Wood: 20 Nos.
9. Rigger: 20 Nos.
10. Forger & Heat Treater: 5 Nos.
Reservation of the vacancies for reserved categories and PWD candidates is as per Govt. norms.

Educational Qualification: Madhyamik/ Matriculation pass with minimum 50% marks AND ITI in the relevant Trade with 65% marks in relevant trades.

Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after 01-04-1993 and on or before 01-04-2000. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.

Physical Standards — Height: 150 cms; Weight: Minimum 45 Kgs, Chest: Expansion by 5 cms, Eye sight: 6/6 to 6/9.

Stipend during training period: Rs.1490, Rs.1700, Rs.1970, Rs.2220/- per month depending on period of Apprenticeship training.

Candidates' selection: Shortlist will be prepared on basis of candidates performance in Matriculation and ITI. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test in December, 2013. Candidates who will qualify the written test will be then called for Interview.
Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) — Bhilai Steel Plant is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the post of "Operator cum Technician (Trainee)" for its plant in discipline of Metallurgy, Electrical, Mech/ Mechtronics, Computer Science/IT, Electronics and Instrumentation. Consolidated Pay (During Training period): Rs.10700/- per month in first year and Rs.12200/- per month in second year. Other allowances will be provided as per norms.
Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years and on successful completion of training period they shall be absorbed in regular posts.

Candidates' Selection: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test, information for which will be provided in the Admit Card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview.
Tentative date of written test will be confirmed in Admit Card in due course.
