Haryana Police Recruitment Board is recruiting 8275 Constable (General Duty) in Haryana Police and 640 Male Constable in India Reserve Battalions of Haryana State. Advertisement No. 2-/2013 and 3-/2013. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their Application form through Online system from the official website of HPRB (See below). Qualification norms and brief details are given below —



MALE & FEMALE CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY) IN HARYANA POLICE 
Number of Vacancies: 8609 Nos.
—Total Male candidates: 8275 Nos. 
—Total Female candidates: 334 Nos.

MALE CONSTABLE IN INDIA RESERVE BATTALIONS OF HARYANA STATE.
Number of Vacancies: 640 Nos.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (FOR ALL POSTS) —
The reservation of seats for reserved categories is as per norms (See the below link for details). The benefit of reservation will be given only to those ESM/SC/BC who are domicile of Haryana State. Candidates from other States may apply as General candidates.

Educational Qualification: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2) pass.

Age Limit: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 01-10-2013. Upper age relaxation for ST/ST/OBC is as per Punjab Police Rules.
Upper age relaxation is only for candidates residing permanently in Haryana State. Candidates from other States may apply as General candidates.

Physical Standards —
For Male candidates: Height—5'.7", Chest (expanded/unexpanded)—33"/ 34.5"
For Female candidates: Height—5'.2"; Chest— not applicable.
Note— Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest will be available to candidates belonging to Scheduled caste and backward Class categories

Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test and Interview.
After due scrutiny of application forms, candidates found eligible shall be informed online regarding the place, date and time of their Physical Measurement.  Candidates will have to appear for selection at their own expense.

After submitting the online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip for future references. No hard copy of application is to be sent to the Board.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- only which is to be deposited in Haryana Government Treasury under head "0051-Public Service Commission-NA-104-UPSC/SSC Examination Fees -99-Fees from application to the Haryana Police Recruitment Board.
The candidates shall mention the treasury challan number and date of the fees in the online application at the relevant Column.
No Application Fee required in case of SC/ST/ BC and Ex-Servicemen candidates of Haryana State only.
