Ordnance Factory, Ambarnath, under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 149 Semi-skilled (Group-C) in the posts of – Electrician, Examiner, Machinist and Millwright. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —


1. ELECTRICIAN: 14 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—4). Out of total vacancies 2 PH and 1 Ex-Servicemen

2. EXAMINER: 25 Nos. (Gen—14; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—6). Out of total vacancies 1 Nos. for Ex-Servicemen.

3. MACHINIST: 89 Nos (Gen—48; SC—9; ST—8; OBC—24). Out of total vacancies 2 PH and 1 Ex-serviceman.

4. MILLWRIGHT: 21 Nos. (Gen—11; SC—2; ST—2; OBC—6). Out of total vacancies 1 Nos. Ex-serviceman.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Madhyamik pass and must have National Apprentice Certificate (NAC)/ National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT
Candidates with Degree or Diploma in Engineering are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of Application form. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- is to be paid in the form of Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of "The Sr. General Manager, Ordnance Factory Ambarnath (Maharashtra)".
Candidate must write his name and application no on the reverse of DD/IPO.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-serviceman and all women candidates.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test (Practical). Written Test will be fully objective type (Multiple Choice) of 100 marks of duration 120 minutes and OMR based.
On the basis of merit list based on marks obtained in Written Test, the candidates will be called for Trade Test (Practical). The Trade Test (Practical) is only of qualifying in nature (without any marks). The final merit list will be based on marks in the Written Test only (See the pdf file below for details)
