Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB)is an organization which conducts recruitments and selections for the various services under Delhi Government. DSSSB Recruitment 2015 in New Delhi Municipal Corporation (Advt. No-2/2014)

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has recently released employment news in it's official website www.dsssb.delhigovt.nic.in. According to it, DSSSB is recruiting 1223 posts. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting competitive examinations for various services and posts throughout the year. UPSC is inviting online applications for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) -2015. This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year to recruit the jobs in Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Force. The details of this employment are published in www.upsconline.nic.in and last date to apply through the same website is 23^rd January, 2015.

What is National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA)?

Those who would like to become officers in the Indian Armed Forces with intermediate qualification can find National Defence Academy (NDA) as the appropriate platform to achieve their dream. NDA is a blend of quality education, training and job. The benefit of joining NDA is to have a degree along with training and starting a career with Rs 45,000 salary. UPSC NDA & NA Examination (I) 2015 details

Examination Date : April 19, 2015

Total Vacancies : 375

National Defence Academy: 320 (ARMY -208, NAVY- 42, Air Force-70)

Naval Academy : 55 (10+2 Cadet Entry scheme)

Age Limit: applicants should be born between 2^nd July 1996 and 1^st July 1999.

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 or equivalent. Mathematics and Physics passed in intermediate are required for all defence forces except Army.

Physical measurements : height should be 162.5 for Air force and 157.5 for Army and Navy.

UPSC NDA and NA Examination -2015 Application Process

Candidates are advised to check carefully their suitability for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) -2015. After ensuring their eligibility they can apply online by visiting www.upsconline.nic.in from 27^th December, 2014 to 23^rd January, 2015. The eligible candidates are issued an e-Admission certificate to attend the examination just before 3 weeks before the examination. This e-Admission certificate can be downloaded from www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in.

What is the Selection process of NDA & Naval Academy?

Selection of NDA is done in three phases.

Stage 1: Written test. This contains mathematics questions for 300 marks and general ability for test for 600 marks.

Stage 2: Interview (Intelligence and Personality Test) for 900 marks.

Stage 3: Medical Examination.

Written test: The NDA written test is conducted in English medium in objective type. There is negative marking for wrong answers. Those qualified in the written exam are eligible for the interview. Those who are qualified in interview are sent for the medical examination. Candidates who have qualified in the fitness test are than selected to join the course.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. They should meet the physical parameters set by the board.
