Discipline — Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation (Madhyamik) pass and 03 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with 60% in aggregate (55% in case of SC/ST/Sportsperson) may apply.

Age: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 22yrs, i.e. candidates shall be born between 01 Aug 1992 to 31 Jul 1996. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Physical Standards Required: 
(a) Height —  Minimum height 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
(b) Chest —  Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
(c) Weight —  Proportionate to height and age +10% acceptable.
(d) Hearing —  Normal
(e) Visual Standards —  6/24 without glasses and 6/9 & 6/12 with glasses for Better Eye and Worse Eye respectively.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates' Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
The written tests will be objective type. The questions paper will contain questions from their respective discipline (Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication.
Those who qualify written tests will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT), interview and initial Medical Examination.

The Written Examination will be held at respective centres at — Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Gandhi Nagar, Noida and Paradip.

Candidates from West Bengal may select "Kolkata" as their Examination centre during submission of Online application.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
1.6 Km run to be completed in 7minutes.
20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
10 Push ups.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting 23 Junior Engineers (Civil and Electrical). Advertisement No. 1/JE/2013-14. RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (RBI) REQUIRES 23 JR. ENGINEERS (CIVIL/ ELECTRICAL). APPLY ONLINE WITHIN 20/02/2014.

1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Number of Vacancies: 9 Nos. (Gen—7; ST—1; SC—00; OBC—1)
Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) OR  Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).
Experience — At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc.

2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) 
Number of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—1; ST—00; OBC—4)
Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) OR Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).
Experience — At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc.

Essential (for both posts): Candidate should know how to read/ write and speak one of the Official Languages of the State/ UT in the Zone. Some questions may be put in the local language at the time of interview, to ascertain the level of familiarity of the candidates with the one of the Official Language of the State/ UT in the zone. Candidate should also be able to write and speak English fluently.

Age Limit: Between 20 and 30 years as on 01.02.2014. Candidates born not earlier than 02/02/1984 and not later than 01/02/1994 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.8040—20100 plus other allowances as per norms. Starting basic pay will be Rs.12370/- per month.

Candidates' Selection Mode: Selection of the candidates shall be through Online Examination for 200 marks on – (i) English Language, (ii) Engineering Discipline and (iii) General Awareness. Total duration of examination will be 02 hours and will be in Hindi and English. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. Refer the advt. for complete details (See the PDF file below)
The online examination will be held tentatively on 30/03/2014. The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. Candidates may choose their centre during submission of Online Examination.

During submission of Online application, candidates will require to upload their scan photograph and signature. Candidates shall keep those scan documents ready for uploading.

Application Fee: Rs.600/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen categories.
Candidates shall pay the Application Fee through Online mode by means of Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking. Fee can be also paid through Offline mode, i.e. through Bank Transaction by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee challan can be downloaded from the bank's website. Name of the banks through which pay can be deposited are — Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India. 
Fee payment will be accepted at the CBS branches of the banks listed above from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days. System generated fee payment challan will be used for depositing fee.

After completing the procedure of applying on‐line including payment of fees, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated on‐line application form (Registration Slip Number and Password) three days after fee payment.
The print-outs shall be retained safely by the candidates for future correspondence and verification. Do not send any hard copy or print-outs to the Bank.

Desirable Qualification : Working knowledge in computer is preferable

Pay: Rs.9000/- — Rs.40,500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400/-
Age: 18yrs to 37yrs.

Upper age relaxation: Age will be counted as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs and Others - As per norms.

Candidates' Selection: The Commission will conduct Preliminary Test, Written Test and interview as the case may be. The scheme and syllabus of the screening test/written test etc. will be given on the Commission's website later on.

National Archives of India, New Delhi, is recruiting 42 Supervisor, Archival Assistant, Mender and Helper on purely contract basis for a period of one year for undertaking specific work of two projects, namely – (I) Preparation of Reference Media of Public Records and (II) Processing and Accessioning of Records and Preparation of Reference Media. NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF INDIA, NEW DELHI REQUIRES 42 SUPERVISOR, ARCHIVAL ASSISTANT, MENDER AND HELPER. LAST DATE — 22/02/2014.

1. Supervisor: 4 Nos.
Qualification: Retired Archivist/ ADA from National Archives of India OR 15yrs experience in Archives.
Fixed Salary: Rs.25000/- per month

2. Archival Assistant: 36 Nos.
Qualification: Master's Degree in Modern Indian History or having one optional paper of post 1750 A.D. from recognized University of India. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed one year diploma in 'Archives and Records Management' from the School of Archival Studies, National Archives of India, New Delhi with basic knowledge of computer and also having working knowledge of the project.

3. Mender: 2 Nos.

INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) INVITES UNMARRIED MALE TO JOIN IAF AS AIRMEN IN GROUP X (TECHNICAL) TRADES. LAST DATE — 17/02/2014.

AIRMAN (GROUP 'X' TECHNICAL TRADES)

Educational Qualification: Intermediate/ 10+2 / or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
OR 
3yrs Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 FEBRUARY 1994 to 30 NOVEMBER 1997 (both days inclusive).

Medical Standards: — (i) Height: Minimum is 152.5 cms. (ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm (iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. (v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. (vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments.

Physical Fitness Test will be hold and will be as follows — (i) 1.6 Km run to be completed within 8 minutes.

Pay: During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month will be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance (DA), will be Rs.23,655/-per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs.41,743/- per month (approximately) depending upon the rank attained.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
Candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will be interviewed. Interview is normally conducted in English. Working knowledge of English is essential. Finally candidates will go for Medical Examination which will be as per Indian Air Force Medical Standards.

Examination centre will be at — Ambala, New Delhi, Kanpur, Barrackpore, Jodhpur, Tambaram (Chennai), Bihta (Patna), Guwahati, Secunderabad, Kochi and Bhopal.
