Office of the Project Officer-cum-District Welfare Officer, Backward Classes Welfare, Bankura — Application are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of Teachers in Biology, Physic and English with B.P.ED and Non Teaching Staff (Clerk, Library Attendant, Cooks, Night Guard) for Eklabya Model Residential Schools at Mukutmonipur, Gorabari and Bankura. BACKWARD CLASSES WELFARE, BANKURA – RECRUITMENT OF TEACHING AND NON TEACHING STAFF FOR EMRS. LAST DATE — 28/02/2014

TEACHING POSTS —
1. Teacher (in subject – Biology, Physic and English)
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. for each subject.
Educational Qualification: Master's degree in the concerned subject and having English medium background in the ICSE/ CBSE etc. B.Ed or M.Ed is desirable.
For English Teacher: Master's degree having English medium background in the ICSE/ CBSE with B.P.ED.

NON-TEACHING POSTS —
1. Clerk: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline. Computer knowledge is desirable.

2. Library Attendant: 1 Nos.
3. Cook: 2 Nos.
4. Night Guard: 1 Nos.
Qualification (for Lib.Attnd, Cook, Night Guard): Class-VIII pass. Desirable—knowledge and experience in the field is desirable. Candidates with Diploma/ Certificate in the respective field will be treated as added qualification.

The engagement of the posts will be at Eklabya Model Residential School at Mukutmonipur, Gorabari, Bankura. The recruitment process will be carried by Paschim Banga Adibasi Kalyan –O – Siksha Parishad.

All the posts are contractual. Salary for Teachers will be Rs.14000/- per month and Rs.10000/- per month for Clerk and Rs.7000/- per month for Library Attendant, Cook and Night Guard.

Age Limit: Maximum 38yrs as on 01-02-2014 (for all above posts)

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 482 candidates for the combatised post of Head Constable(Ministerial), through direct recruitment. The vacancies include Reserved/ Backlog and Current vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. CRPF — 482 HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) THROUGH DIRECT RECRUITMENT. CLOSING DATE – 12/03/2014. 

Name of the Post: Head Constable (Ministerial)
Number of Vacancies: 482 Nos. (Gen—181; OBC—92; SC—53; ST—156). Out of total vacancies, 41 is reserved for Ex-Servicemen. 

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass (10+2) or equivalent examination AND shall have English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer OR Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.

Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years as on 12/3/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Physical Standards :
Male candidates: Height—165 cms (162.5cms for ST and Hill area candidates); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) —77cms/ 82cms
Female candidates: Height – 155cms (150cms for ST and Hill area candidates); Chest – Not applicable.
Weight (For all candidates): Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.

Visual Standards (for all candidates): The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye without correction i.e. without wearing glasses or lenses. No color blindness.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.


The post are combatised and purely temporary in nature but likely to continue.

Selection of the candidates will be in two phase —
A. FIRST PHASE-
— Scrutiny/checking of certificates/documents
Physical Measurement
— Written examination.
B. SECOND PHASE-
— Skill test ( i.e. Typing speed test)
Interview
Medical examination

The written examination will be of 200 marks consisting of following four parts:- 
Part -I: Hindi/English Language 
Part -II : General Intelligence. 
Part -III: Numerical Aptitude. 
Part -IV: Clerical Aptitude.

Exact date and venue of First phase and written examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

Candidates shall enclose four recent passport size self attested photographs out of which one shall be pasted on the Application form.
N.B: Candidates shall enclose four self addressed envelopes of 25 cm x 12 cm size duly affixing postal stamp worth Rs.27/- on each envelope with full postal address of the candidate neatly written on envelope in Capital letters.

Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir requesting for relaxation in height should produce certificate in proforma/format given in Annexure-D (See the PDF file below)

Application Fee: Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (for General and OBC candidates) to be drawn in favour of the DIGP, GC, CRPF of concerned application receiving centre mentioned in Para-16 of the below given PDF file.
SC/ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
The IPO/Demand Draft should be purchased/drawn after the date of publication of this advertisement officially (will be on 15/02/2014) and should be payable/encashed at post office/Bank of the concerned centre where candidates wish to apply.

UPSC is inviting application for the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination-2014. Candidates qualifying this examination will be place in Junior Time scale in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service for which the total vacancies are 38 Nos. Examination Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Rs.200/- as fee through any branch of State Bank of India by cash by means of system generated Pay-in-Slip or fee can be paid through NET Banking/ Debit/ Credit card, during submission of online application.
Pay-in-Slip will be generated automatically upon submission of Part-II Application (Refer the Advt. for details)
