Overjoyed Schnauzer Passes Out While Excitedly Greeting His Human for First Time in 2 Years

In this incredibly heartwarming video posted by Rebecca Ehalt, an overjoyed schnauzer named Casey gets so excited that he passes out while greeting his human for the first time in two years. Casey’s human had been working and living abroad in Bled, Slovenia before coming home to Murrysville, Pennsylvania for a visit. Not to worry however, according to the family, Casey was checked out by a veterinarian and is doing fine.

A Life-Size Replica of the Iconic Pink Teddy Bear From AMC's 'Breaking Bad'

ThinkGeek has released a life-size replica of the iconic pink teddy bear from AMC’s popular television series Breaking Bad. The teddy bear, which is available to purchase online, made its most memorable appearance on the second season of the show when it fell out of a downed 737 plane, landed in Walter White‘s swimming pool, and lost its eye.

The pink teddy bear. So innocent and also so aptly representative of that plunge from innocence that Walter White takes. It’s the perfect iconic prop from Breaking Bad. Fans will immediately know what it is. Non-fans will wonder what the heck you did to your poor teddy bear and make a mental note never to give you plush as a gift.

'Threading the RCA Projector', A 1950s Instructional Film Demonstrating the Proper Operation of a 16mm Projector

YouTube archivists WDTVLIVE42 have unearthed “Threading the RCA Projector”, a 1950s instructional film showing viewers the proper way to operate a 16mm projector. The film, which was was produced by the State University of Iowa, is "one in a series on the use of audio visual equipment."

To rewind the film after a showing, bring the end of the film to the feed reel and attach it. Wind counter-clockwise a few turns to take up the slack. Turn the rewind lever to rewind. Turn on the projector switch and let the projector run until the film is rewound.

The Bottle Boys Perform the Turkish Song 'Simarik' Live at a Bazaar in Istanbul Using Bottles as Instruments

The five Denmark-based members of The Bottle Boys recently performed a cover of the Turkish song “Simarik” by Tarkan live at a crowded bazaar in Istanbul using bottles as instruments. We’ve previously written about The Bottle Boys and their impressive covers of famous songs.

This time we are taking you to the beautiful city of Istanbul, where we just performed at a big festival. The morning after the concert we decided to make a really special video in a big bazaar, because of the great atmosphere. We wanted to play the Turkish song Simarik (which also has been translated to english at some point – here the song was named Kiss Kiss), because of its cool groove and because it allowed us to experiment even more with bending the bottles.

Los Angeles photographer Ian Wood flew a quadcopter outfitted with a GoPro through Downtown Los Angeles to find some beauty in the more visually stunning buildings and artworks of the area, including the Arts District and Chinatown.

Above the grit and noise of the street, downtown Los Angeles quietly provides some of the most amazing visual detail in its buildings and public art works. This is a selection of those buildings and public arts filmed across some 50 different locations in the immediate downtown area and the arts district. There are many many more locations that are not included and are equally if not more impressive.

'Marilyn Myller', A Stop-Motion Animated Short About the Frustrations of Stop-Motion Animation

“Marilyn Myller” is a stop-motion animated short by British artist Mikey Please that stars comedian Josie Long as the titular protagonist who experiences some extreme frustration while attempting to create animation of her own.

A year in the making, the full six minute stopmotion short features the voice of Josie Long, one zillion hand carved tiny things, literally tens of carved foam puppets, two eye fulls of in-camera, long-exposure light trickery and a pair of tiny dolphins, smooching.

The team behind the short has also created a time-lapse video of some of that creation process.

A Funny and 100% Real Live-Action 'Dragon Ball Z' Movie Trailer by Mega64

Mega64 has created a funny and “100% real” live-action Dragon Ball Z movie trailer that is “no joke.” The group was asked by FUNimation to make a special trailer that would help promote their release of the upcoming anime film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, which hits select theaters on August 5th, 2014. The guys at Mega64 gladly accepted the challenge and funding from FUNimation, but did something totally off-track from what the production company wanted.

Video of World Record-Breaking 804 Handclaps in One Minute

Chicago singer-songwriter Bryan Bednarek captures the world record for most handclaps in a single minute with 804 — beating the 802 that he achieved last year — in a video posted by musician Rob Scallon. Bednarek has also detailed the extremely specific guidelines set by the Guinness Book for officially recognizing the record attempt.

A ‘clap’ is confined to noises made by an individual’s two palms meeting. At least two qualified and experienced sound engineers, preferably from a university or studio dealing with recording, should be in attendance and monitor the attempt, and take responsibility for determining the number of claps. Two experienced timekeepers (e.g. from a local athletics club) must time the attempt with stopwatches accurate to 0.01 seconds.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′, Katniss Aims to Unite and Fight in the Third Installment of the Film Series

Lionsgate released the first teaser trailer and poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, the first of two films directed by Francis Lawrence based on the novel Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. The third installment of the film series follows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as she attempts to unite the districts and fight to save Peeta Mellark as well as the nation. The film is scheduled to release in United States theaters on November 21st, 2014.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.

A Giant Spirograph That Measures Eight Feet Across and Writes on the Sidewalk in Chalk

Nathan of the craft website HaHa Bird built a giant version of the perennial favorite children’s drawing toy Spirograph made out of wood that measures eight feet across and creates familiar geometric patterns on the sidewalk in chalk.

The idea for this project came about at a craft show in December when a friend of mine had a little trouble with a laser-cut Spirograph we found. I teased her about her apparent lack of fine motor skills, then had the idea to make a Spirograph that only required gross motor skills. How big could I make a Spirograph?

A World Record Attempt to Topple 2,000 Extremely Small Mini Dominoes in Germany

Sinners Domino Entertainment has uploaded a video featuring a pair of domino enthusiasts in Büdingen, Germany attempting to capture a new world record on the set of the CBBC show Officially Amazing in July 2013 by toppling 2,000 mini dominoes. Mini dominoes are roughly 1/100th the size of their full-size counterparts. The current record defined by the Guinness Book is 1,114, set by a group in the Netherlands in 2008.

Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer and poster for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the third and final part in The Hobbit film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. The third film will bring an epic final stand in Middle-earth and an ending to Jackson’s movie trilogy. The different races must choose whether to stand together or divide in their fight against the oncoming legions of evil. The film is scheduled to release in the United States on December 17th, 2014.

‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Tiny Bespectacled Yorkie Performs an Amazing Multitude of Wonderful Tricks

Misa Minnie, a tiny bespectacled yorkie who was recently certified as a therapy dog, performs a multitude of wonderful tricks with the encouragement of her human in this absolutely adorable video posted by MeSoMiniMisa.

After struggling the last year with my vision loss we finally were able to make a new trick video with my wonder dog Misa Minnie. :) This is dedicated to all the people that helped us out this year. Misa Minnie is a 1 1/2 year old Yorkie in this video that is trained with positive reinforcement and lots of treats. She lives in Sunny California where she is home trained and is now officially a Therapy Dog for children and people in hospice.

It looks like Misa’s learned quite a bit since her very early game of patty-cake over a year ago.
