1. Scale of Pay: Rs. 13600 – 25420 (Revised IDA pay scales).

2. On Selection / Appointment, candidate has to serve anywhere in Andaman & Nicobar Telecom District including in other nonrecruiting Units of BSNL, like Eastern Telecom Region (ETR), Eastern Telecom. Projects (ETP) including satellite project, Quality  Assurance (QA), and Testing & Development (T&D) etc., and as per TTA Recruitment Rules-2001.

3. Eligibility:

(a) Indian Nationals are only eligible to apply.

(b) Education: 3 Years Engineering Diploma from a recognized Institution / University in any of the following disciplines

i. Telecommunications Engineering

ii. Electronics Engineering

iii. Electrical Engineering

iv. Radio Engineering

v. Computer Engineering

vi. Instruments Technology

vii. Information Technology or

viii. M.Sc (Electronics).

(c.) Age: Applicant should be between 18 and 27 years, as on the closing date for submission of applications.

i. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

ii. For PH candidates, the age is relaxable by 10 years for OC candidates, 13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST candidates.

iii. In case of BSNL Employees, age is relaxed up to 40 years for OC candidates, up to 43 years for OBC and up to 45 years  for SC/ST Candidates.

iv. Ex. Servicemen are eligible for relaxation in age as prescribed by the Central Government.

Examination Fee : An Examination Fee of Rs. 500/- is payable in the form of Indian Postal Order or crossed - Bank Demand  Draft in favor of the Accounts Officer (Cash), % the Chief General Manager, Andaman & Nicobar Telecom Circle, BSNL, Port  Blair. The fee shall not be accepted in any other form. The SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying Examination fee. The fee  once paid neither be refunded under any circumstances nor can not be held in reserve for any other examination / selection

1 MIS Specialist

The primary responsibility of the MIS expert will be to support speedy internalization of the MIS, data management, accurate reporting, strive to improve the IT systems of RAY and proactively recommend ways to make it more effective and efficient.

2 GIS Specialist

The primary responsibility of the GIS expert will be to integrate JJ Cluster/slum MIS, property databases and other spatial-non-spatial databases with Delhi Govt GIS, carry out analysis required from time-to-time and provide support in use of GIS for planning, management and decision support.

3 Urban / Town Planning Specialist

The Town Planning Specialist will be the team leader.

S/he will carry out all the functions of town planning / urban planning for RAY Slum Free City plan and provide support to DUSIB in adherence to the planning guidelines of RAY/JNNURM.

4 Social Development Specialist

The Social Development specialist shall play a key role in taking forward the core principles of community participation, community development with regard to internalising stakeholder consultations into the planning as well as operating procedures for RAY. He/She will provide advisory support to ensure community participation in other planning and practices of infrastructure development and optimising the community participation on urban governance.

5 Project Engineering Specialist

Project Engineering Specialist will be responsible for providing overall guidance and support on all aspects of planning, design, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of slum infrastructure projects undertaken under Slum Free City Plan.

6 Capacity Building Specialist

The Capacity Building/Training Coordinator will play a key role in taking forward the core principles of RAY with regard to appreciation and implementation of the reforms, internalizing stakeholder consultations into the operating procedures and practices of infrastructure development and optimizing the community participation in urban governance.

Capacity building and training will be critical for the preparation and implementation of slum- free city action plan.
