QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :

1. A Master's degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the  UGC seven point scale. (5% relaxation in Master's Degree to SC/ST & Departmental  candidates)

2. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and  above or with eight years of services in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as  Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration  OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of  Higher Education OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an  equivalent post.
3. Knowledge of Marathi is essential.
Scale of Pay:- Rs.37400-67000 AGP 10000 (for UGC qualifications & teaching exp.)
Rs.37400-67000 GP 8900 (for other candidates)
In addition to pay, other allowances will be payable as per Govt. rules. Age: Candidate shall not be less than forty-five years of age unless already in the service  of the Universities or affiliated colleges.  


Tenure and Age of Retirement :-

This is tenure appointment, initially for a period of five years and the person shall  be eligible for re-appointment. During this tenure, in case of retirement, the age of  retirement shall be 58 years for a person from the non-teaching cadre and 60 years for a  person from the teaching cadre. The post carries retirement benefits according to the Govt.  and University rules. Prescribed application forms can be made available from the University office on  payment of Rs.200/- in cash or by post on submitting the Demand Draft of Rs.225/- drawn  in favour of "The Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur" along with a  self-addressed envelope.

Application are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Associate (on contract) in research project entitled "Finite  Element Approximation and Computer Implementation for Non-Linear Elliptic Singular Perturbation Problems with Engineering  Applications" sanction order no-25(0187)/10/EMR-II sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The duly completed application on prescribed format along with copies of supporting documents must reach to: Research & Consultancy Cell, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad-211004 on or before 30/06/2013. 
The envelope should be super scribed as "Application for the post of Research Associate (on contract) in the Project "Finite Element Approximation and Computer Implementation for Non-Linear Elliptic Singular Perturbation Problems with Engineering Applications". A soft copy of the application should also be sent to manoj@mnnit.ac.in, email address of Dr. Manoj Kumar. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the Funding agency rules & service conditions of Research & Consultancy Cell, MNNIT Allahabad.


Number of Position : 1 (one)
Essential Qualifications : Ph.D or equivalent degree in related area of project. Knowledge of Mathematical Software's/ computer programming language is desirable. Those who have submitted PhD thesis can also apply.Fellowship : 22,000/- per month+ 20% HRA, (Candidate having one year post Ph.D Experience may be given 23000 per month + 20% HRA)


Other Benefits : Accommodation may be available as per the availability and the Institute norms in lieu of HRA. Facility  of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per applicable rules of the  project staff.


Age Limit : 35 years on the last date of application (The upper age limit is relaxable in the case of  candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates CSIR rule

Tenure of Appointment : Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year or till the end of project whichever is earlier.
