Self Help Group & Self Employment Secton, Purba Medinipur is recruiting 14 Nos. candidates for the posts of "Supervisor" in Block & Municipalities under Purba Medinipur. SUPERVISOR
Number of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (Gen—02; SC—07; ST—02; OBC-A—02; OBC-B—1)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree with Honours in any discipline from any recognized University.
Candidates must have one year Diploma course in Computer covering MS Office and must have reasonable typing speed.

Residence: The Candidates must be a resident of Purba Medinipur district.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21yrs to 40yrs as on 01/01/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs and OBC—3yrs.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.12000/- plus fixed T.A of Rs.1000/-. There will be no any other allowances.

Job Specification: The post will be located at Blocks/ Municipalities and their service will be place with BDO/ Municipality concerned. The selected candidates will be responsible for implementation of Self Employment Programme and execution of work pertaining to Self Help Groups including assessment of Self Employment opportunities and needs of the Block/ Municipality he/she is assigned.

The engagement to the above posts is on contractual basis initially for 6 months which may be further renewed on basis of satisfactory performance of the candidate.
The selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary and Bachelor Degree (Hons) Examination, Proficiency in Computer application and viva voce as per guidelines of SHG&SE Department, Govt. of W.B.
The selected candidates will be appointed by the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur.
Exact date and venue of candidates' selection will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates.

How to Apply: The eligible and interested candidates who fulfill the above criteria may apply on prescribed application format along with necessary documents in support of Age, Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate, Voter Card, Residence Certificate by BDO/SDO, Computer course certificate, etc in attested copies and two copies of recent passport size colour photographs with signature.
Candidates must also enclose one Self-Address envelope (10.5x4.5) affixing postal stamp of Rs.6/- on it.
