www.maharashtrapost.gov.in –Applications in the prescribed format are invited Maharashtra Postal Circle from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Postal Assistants /Sorting Assistants / Postal Assistant Returned Letter Office / Postal Assistant Mail Motor Service, Postal Assistant (Foreign Post Organization) and Postal Assistant (SBCO) job vacancies. Maharashtra post published recruitment 2013 notification for it and the last date of submitting online applications are 27^th March, 2014.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 + GP 2400

Age Between : 18 - 27 years

Academic Qualifications: 10+2 with not less than 60% marks (SC/ST 45%, OBC 55%) with English as a compulsory subject.

After submitting online application for Maharashtra Postal Circle postal assistant jobs the candidate has to note the system generated unique registration number. The registration number and password also will be sent to the candidates email address and to mobile number. Using them the job aspirant has to log on to www.pasadrexam2014.in and download the personalized fee payment challan in triplicate and pay the registration fee (Rs.100) and examination fee (Rs. 400/-) in any nearest e-payment post offices. The last date to apply online by visiting www.maharashtrapost.gov.in & www.pasadrexam2014.in is 27^th March, 2014 and for fee payment is 1^st April, 2014.

Maharashtra Postal Circle Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection of postal assistants and sorting assistants is done through an aptitude test for 100 marks comprising of Part-A (general knowledge), Part-b (Mathematics), Part-C (English) and Part-D (Reasoning ability) carries out 25 marks each.

The second test is Computer / Typing test in which the candidates have to type 450 words in English or 375 words in Hindi within 30 minutes.

After qualifying these two examinations with the minimum 40% marks (SC/ST 33%, OBC 38%) in each subject the candidates are selected depending upon the merit list.
