Purvanchal Bank, Gorakhpur, is recruiting 570 Officers and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Candidates who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September/October- 2013 are eligible to apply. 1. Officer (Scale-I): 151 Nos. (Gen—78; SC—31; ST—2; OBC—40). Out of them 4 Nos. PWD.

2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 419 Nos. (Gen—113; SC—88; ST—04; OBC—113). Out of them 12 PWD and 61 Ex-Servicemen.

Eligibility: Candidates who have qualification as per norms laid by IBPS and have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS for RRBs in the month of September/October 2013, are eligible to apply.

Pay Scale: 
(i) Officer Scale-I: Rs.14500—25700
(ii) Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Rs.7200—19300

Selected candidates for the post of Officer will be on probation for a period of 02yrs (extendable by 01 year) and candidates selected for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will on for 01 year (extendable by 06 months)

Candidates' Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in
RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE-II) conducted by IBPS in September/October 2013 and Personal Interview.
The Interview will be held at the GORAKHPUR centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank's website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.
