Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is going to hold Recruitment Rally for Male Candidates in the rank of "Constable (General Duty/ GD)" in different States (i.e., Assam, Bihar and Sikkim). Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2000/- per month plus Other Allowances as per norms.

Physical Standards of the candidates—

(1). For Assam State: Height—162.56cms (160.02cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—78/83cms (76/81cms for ST candidates); Weight—Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

(2). For Bihar State: Height—165cms (162cms for ST/ SC candidates); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80/85cms (76/81cms for ST candidates and 79/84cms for SC candidates); Weight—Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

(3). For Sikkim State: Height—160 cms (for Gen/SC/ST & OBC); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—77/82cms (for all candidates); Weight—Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
