State Bank of India is inviting Online Application for Recruitment of Rajbhasha Officers (Assistant Manager in JMG Scale-I) in the bank. Total vacancies— 17 Nos. ASSISTANT MANAGER (JMG SCALE-I) 
Number of Vacancies: 17 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—4). PWD candidates may apply for vacancies available in General category.

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level OR Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects at Degree level.
Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 1 yr full time experience of translation work from English to Hindi & vice versa in full time post in reputed organization.

Age Limit: Candidates must be maximum 30yrs old as on 01-06-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—25700 plus other allowances as per norms.

Selection Steps: Selection of the candidates will be on basis of Written Test followed by Interview. Written Test will be carried Online and will be held at – Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Patna, Guahati, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Emakulam centres.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates as Intimation charges only)
The fee can be paid either Offline (bank deposit) or Online (Net banking/ Debit/ Credit card)

For Online fee: The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record
For Offline fee: Candidates must first fill the online application form and then when satisfied they can make final submission of the form. Doing so will generate an automated Fee payment Challan on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out the challan and shall deposit the fee through any branch of State Bank of India. Fee will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and once fee is paid, the registration process is completed.

During online application, candidates will have to upload their scan copy of passport size photograph and signature. Candidates must opt for fee payment method during form submission. (See the officially released Advt. for details)

Candidates must print-out the system generate Registration Slip which may generate with unique Registration Number after submission of the online application form. The print-out Registration slip must be retain safely for future use. There is no need to send any documents/ application to anywhere.

Candidates may download their Call letter and help booklet from 01-08-2013 from the bank's website after mentioning their Registration details.
No call letter will be sent by post to the candidates.

SECURITY GUARDS
Number of Vacancies: 68 Nos. (Gen—34; SC—4; ST—10; OBC—20)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass. Graduate/ Degree holders are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility: Only Ex-Serviceman residing in the State of Maharashtra (excluding Vidarbha Region), State of Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli with above mentioned educational qualification may apply.

Age Limit: 28 for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST) as on June 1, 2013 is further relaxable to the extent of number of years of service in Armed Forces + 3 years subject to maximum upper age limit of 45 years.

Nature of Duties : Guarding Office/Residential premises and Bank's Properties. Vacancies are in the Bank's Offices at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai (Belapur) and Pune. Selected candidates may be posted at any of these centres.


Pay Scale: Initial starting pay will be Rs.6350/- plus A.S.P. Rs.170 per month.
