NON-INDUSTRIAL POSTS: 
1. Senior Engine Driver (Stream/ Motor): 7 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and certificate of Competency as Sea going Engine Driver with not less than 2 years service on a vessel having not less than 700 BHP as Incharge.

2. Engine Driver-I (Stream/ Motor): 12 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and Certificate of Competency as 1st class engine driver not less than 2yrs service on a vessel of not less than 225 BHP as In-Charge.

3. Engine Driver-II: 13 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and Certificate of Competency as 2nd class Engine Driver plus two years service as a Syrang/ Tindal on a vessel over 400 BHP

4. Master Oil Tanker: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and Certificate of Master 1st class I.S.V. at least two years experience of independently handling of a vessel of not less than 30 nominal horse power.

5. Master Gr-I: 6 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and Certificate of Master 1st Class ISV with relevant experience of 2 yrs.

6. Syrang of Lascar: 14 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and Certificate of Syrang I.S.V. and with relevant experience of 2yrs.

7. Tinder of Lascar: 8 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and 3 years service on a Ship/ Craft

8. Lascar 1st Class (Boat Crew): 69 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and 3 years service on a Ship/ Craft

9. Fireman: 20 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation with 3yrs service in a sea going Vessel

10. Topass: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation and must know swimming

INDUSTRIAL POSTS: 
12. Electrical Fitter/ SKL: 21 Nos. (Gen—12; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—5)
13. Engine Fitter/ SKL: 10 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—1; OBC—2)

Educational Qualification for Industrial Posts: Matriculation or equivalent with knowledge of English AND should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade OR Mechanic/ equivalent with 2 years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of Army, Navy and Air Force.

Age Limit:—
For Non-Industrial post – between 18yrs to 35yrs and for Non-Industrial post—Between 18yrs to 35yrs. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.

6. Civilian Motor Driver (CMD – Ordinary Grade) (Male): 78 Nos. (Gen—38; SC—21; OBC—19)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must posses Driving licence for Heavy vehicles and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200—20200 and with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/ Rs.1800 (as applicable to the post)

Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum 18yrs and maximum 25yrs (27yrs for Civilian Motor Driver). Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

The engagement to the above posts are temporary but likely to be permanent after a probation period of two years.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

The Written Test (applicable to both posts) will be in two papers. Paper-I will be General English and Paper-II will be General Knowledge. Qualifying marks will be 40% in each paper.
