High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore, is recruiting 120 Peons (Cooks), Groups-D [Peons/ Sweeper/ Watchmen and Peons (House Keeping)] on the establishment of High Court of Karnataka. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see below). Notification No. HCE 535/2013 and Notification No.HCE 578/2013. 1. PEON (COOKS)
Number of Vacancies: 50 posts.

2. GROUP-D [PEONS/ SWEEPER/WATCHMEN, PEONS (HOUSE KEEPING)]
Number of Vacancies: 70 posts.


Educational Qualification —
For Peon (Cooks) — Minimum Class VII (7th standard) pass and must have experience in cooking.
For Group-D Posts — Minimum Class VII (7th standard) pass.

Pay Scale (for all posts): Rs.9600—14550

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 35yrs. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-Cat-I is 05 years and for OBC-Cat-II-A/II-B/III-A is 03 years.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must may Application Fee of Rs.150/- in form of Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore 560001.
No Application Fee for SC/ST and Category-I candidates. 

The candidates selected for the post will be initially on probation for a period of two years or for extended period, if necessary.
Eligible candidates will be called for Test/ Interview which will be hold in the premises of the High Court of Karnataka, Principal Bench at Bangalore.
Date and venue of Test/ Interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. 

How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of testimonials of the followings —

• 03 Nos. Certificates of character (One from the Principal/ Head of the Institution in which he/she had last studied and two from respectable persons not related to him/her, testifying to his/her character.
• Mark Sheet of Class 7th Standard (also Experience certificate for the post of Peon (Cook)
• Caste Certificate/ Certificate issued by competent authority for reserved categories claiming benefit of reservation/ age relaxation.
• Marks Sheet or TC of class 7th Standard showing the date of birth. 
• A passport size photo (affixed on the Application form)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India (Civil Engineering).

Age as on 01-01-2013: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 37yrs. Upper age relaxation for RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories is 3 yrs and Ex-Servicemen and others – as per norms.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. the Application form can be obtained from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for reserved categories) through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.
