Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is recruiting male candidates for the temporary posts of Constable/Driver-cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services) as special recruitment drive for filling up the backlog vacancies of SC/ST.  Total vacancies—70 Nos. Constable/Driver-cum-Pump Operator/(DCPO)
Number of Vacancies: 70 Nos. (SC—62; sT—08)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification.
Candidates must possess valid driving licence for – (i) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle; (ii) Light Motor Vehicle (iii) Motor cycle with gear .
Experience: Must have 03 years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear as on the last date of the application.

Age Limit: Between 21yrs to 27yrs as on 21/12/2013.

Physical Standards of the candidates —
(1). Height: 167 cms for SC candidates, 160 cms for North Eastern rigion and for persons falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas. And 160 cms for ST candidates.
(2). Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80cms/ 85cms for SC candidates; 78cms/ 83cms for North Eastern region and person falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas. And 76cms/81 cms for ST candidates.
(3). Weight (for all candidates): Shall be corresponding to height and age of the candidates as per medical standards.
(4). Eyesight (for all candidates): Normal (See the advt.)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

This is special Recruitment Drive for SC and ST Male Indian Citizens only. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)—
(i) Run 800 Meters to be completed in 3 minutes and 15 Seconds.
(ii) Long Jump  of 11 feet (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
(iii) High Jump of 3 feet 6 inches (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
Note : Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET.

Candidates who will qualify in the PET, physical measurement and detailed verification of eligibility standards/documentation will be put through Written Test, Driving Test and Medical Examination. See the Advt. for details.

SAILORS FOR SENIOR SECONDARY RECRUITS (SSR)—02/2014 BATCH. 
Education Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with Maths and Physics and atleast any one of the following subjects — Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science.

Candidates' Selection:

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (UthakBaithak) and 10Push-ups.

Medical Standards — Candidates must be minimum 157 cms in height. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum Chest expansion of 5 cms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test which will be Multiple Choice Question on General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning.
The qualified candidates from written test will be then called for Computer Skill Test on MS Office package and Computer Typing Test in English.
Finally the shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
