www.odishassc.in – Odisha Staff Selection Commission is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the selection of Junior Motor Vehicle Inspector posts in the Odisha Sub Ordinate Transport Engineering Service under Department of Commerce and Transport. Junior Motor Vehicle Inspector: 17 (SC-3, ST-3, SEBC-2, UR-9)

Academic Qualifications  : Automobile / Mechanical Engineering Diploma + valid driving license

Application Process: Interested job aspirants after ensuring their suitability for the Junior Motor Vehicle posts can visit www.odishassc.in or http://online.odishassc.in on or before 22ndDecember, 2014. After applying online the candidate have to take 2 print outs of online application forms, OSSC copy and Candidates copy. The Odisha SSC copy along with copies of certificates supporting the eligibility should be sent to "Odisha Staff Selection Commission, Barrack No-1,  Unit-V, Bhubaneswar – 751054"  or drop in the drop box kept in Odisha SSC office on or before the last date 29th December, 2014.

Selection Process:
The Odisha SSC Junior Motor Vehicle Inspectors selection is done through a Written Examination + Viva-voce test.
The written examination is multiple type objective type comprising of Language proficiency, general knowledge, motor vehicle laws and road safety rules, vehicle maintenance, pollution standards and on their diploma discipline.  Written examination is conducted for 200 marks for Paper-1, 2 & 3, divided in to 50 marks, 50 marks and 100 marks respectively. Viva-voce is done for 25 marks. If the candidates could succeed these two tests he will be appointed as Junior Motor Vehicle Inspector depending upon the merit.
