NTSE 2014

• NTSE scholarship was constituted in 1963 by NCERT. It is one of the most prestigious scholarship in India and is also considered one of the toughest scholarship exam in India.
• The Work related to National Talent Search Examination is looked after National Talent Search Scheme Cell.
• NTSE 2014-15 stage 1 exam would be held on November 2,2014 in all the states and UTs except Meghalaya, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar Islands where the exam would be held on November 1, 2014.
• NTSE 2014-15 stage 2 exam would be held on May 10, 2015
• NTSE Scholarship is provided for higher studies
  • The scholarship is provided to students pursuing courses in sciences and social sciences up to doctoral level.
  • In case of professional courses like medicine and engineering the scholarship is up to second-degree level subject.
    
  • NTSE Scholarship is a two stage Exam, Stage 1 is conducted by the State/UT and the qualifying students appear for NTSE stage 2 exam which is conducted by NCERT.
