BUS CONDUCTORS
Number of Vacancies: 246 Nos. (Gen—88; SC—32; OBC—87;  Ex-Serviceman—31; PH-Ortho—08)
Out of total vacancies, 33% is reserved for women candidates. Incase sufficient eligible female candidates are not found then the vacancies will be filled up with eligible male candidates.
SC candidates from all over India may claim for reservation whereas in case of OBC the reservation will be applicable to the candidates who falls under both U.T., Chandigarh list as well as Central list for U.T., Chandigarh. Therefore OBC candidates from other States may apply as General candidates.

Educational Qualification: 10+2 from any recognized board/ university and should posses a valid Conductor's Licence.
(Special relaxation for women candidates is given to obtain conductor licence within 3 months after the declaration of final result).

Age Limit: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5910—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400 plus other allowances as per norms. Initial starting salary will be Rs.9880/- per month.

Processing Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Processing fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.200 in case of SC and Ex-servicemen). No fee in case of PH candidates.
The fee is to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India by means of fee challan which will be available during submission of online application form.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test only. There will be no Interview. Initially shortlist will be prepared on basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination.
Tentatively the written test will be held in the last week of September 2013 and information in this regard will be made available on the official website at least 2 weeks in advance. Call letters for Written Test should be downloaded from the website by the candidate when he/she will be asked to do so. No separate call letter will be issued.
The written test (objective type having multiple choice answers) will be based on (i) Numerical Ability (ii) General Knowledge & General Behaviour (iii) Knowledge of Traffic rules and (iv) First Aid etc.
There will be no negative marking. The duration of written test will be of 02 hours.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree with MBA or Advanced Diploma in General Management from recognized University/ Institution  AND 5yrs experience/ training in systems and process management or 5yrs experience/ training in IT Systems Management/ HR Management/ Financial Management from a Govt./ Established Organization.
Candidates must have knowledge of Hindi and official language of Assam plus knowledge of Computer application.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have qualification and experience in the field of Law and / or possessing a BE/ B.Tech Degree. 

Age Limit: between 25yrs to 35yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates of Assam is 3 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.50000/- per month with an increase of 10% after 12 months of continuous service.
