It’s unclear whether the site still sells pogs, but at one time it allowed orders of up to 1,000 pogs.

7 Days of Garbage is a series of portraits of friends, neighbors, and other acquaintances with the garbage they accumulate in the course of a week. Subjects are photographed surrounded by their trash in a setting that is part nest, part archeological record. We've made our bed and in it we lie.

Character art and animation were created by Daniel Baxter with further animation by Chris Oldenburg, and background artwork by Otis Frampton. Philz Coffee Opens Their First Shop Outside of San Francisco Bay Area in Santa Monica, California

San Francisco Bay Area mainstay Philz Coffee has opened shop in Santa Monica, California, their first location outside of the San Francisco Bay Area since their inception in 2003.

It all started in 2003, from the humble and passionate roots of Phil Jaber. As he would tell you, Frank Sinatra was born to sing, and Phil Jaber was born to make coffee. The rest goes like this: About 25 years ago Phil first began experimenting with different beans from around the world with the goal in mind of making really great tasting blends. Phil wanted each blend to be flavorful, complex, rich, smooth and low in acidity. After about 25 years of experimentation and testing, Phil has created more than 30 unique blends that achieve all of this. After perfecting his blends, Phil wanted to make sure each cup was made in a way that brought out all the flavors of the coffee. He wanted a brewing method that would involve his other passion, people and community. Phil believes coffee is personal and social, and he wanted to make sure the coffee-making process embodied this and made each cup taste really great.

This is great news for Angelenos who love good coffee. In fact, musician Snoop Dog and digital strategist Andy Sternberg have already shared their own joy of the news.

The Cash Cannon, A Novelty Device That Spits Out Cash When Triggered

The Cash Cannon is a novelty device that spits out cash when triggered. Other similar bills could be used, but the toy is specifically designed to “make it rain.” The device also comes with a stack of 60 fake $1 bills.

The Cash Cannon is a toy that dispenses paper items in a rapid but user controlled manner. The preferred item of choice to dispense is of course cash but any item that fits in the loading compartment and out of the slot will work with the device. The Cash Cannon is the first device that performs this function and is simple enough in terms of design to be mass manufactured for the public use.

The Original 1984 'Ghostbusters' Film Has Been Remastered for 30th Anniversary, Will Return to Theaters in August 2014

Sony Pictures has released a 30th anniversary trailer to celebrate the original 1984 Ghostbuster film’s upcoming week-long remastered return to theaters on August 29th, 2014. As an added bonus, anniversary editions of Ghostbusters I & II are being remastered in 4K and coming to Blu-ray on September 16th. The Blu-ray set is available to pre-order online from the official store and Amazon.

SoundWorks Collection talks to Randy Thom and Dean DeBlois, the sound designer and director behind the recent Dreamworks animated film How to Train Your Dragon 2, for a behind the scenes peek into the sound of the film. Among the subjects discussed are lessons learned from the film's predecessor that were applied to the sequel.

I think one of the things we discovered on the first film was that balance between music and sound effects was often at odds. But having the perspective of the first film, I realized that there were scenes that we could orchestrate to be purely music driven or, in some cases, purely effects driven.
