A Sculptural Bus Stop That Spells Out 'Bus' in Giant Letters

Spanish art studio mmmm… has created “BUS,” a clever sculptural bus stop that lets commuters relax and take shelter in 14-foot-tall letters that form the word “bus.” The permanent public art installation was unveiled in Baltimore back in July. The mmmm… studio consists of artists Emilio Alarcón, Alberto Alarcón, Ciro Márquez, and Eva Salmerón.

By Lori Dorn on Aug 08, 2014 05:02 pm

Post by ???.

A student at Fu Jen Catholic University in Xinchuang, Taiwan amusingly plays her adorable schnauzer as if it were a stringed instrument in an orchestra, using the dog’s paw as the neck of the instrument and his fuzzy belly as the strings. The happy canine also joins, adding in a bit of rhythm with his feet.

A Silicone Tea Infuser Shaped Like a Human Skull

By EDW Lynch on Aug 08, 2014 03:29 pm

Skull Tea Infuser

Designer Lee Jinyoung of i-Clue Design has created a delightful Skull Tea Infuser, a silicone tea infuser in the shape of a human skull. As Jinyoung explains, the infuser has its roots in a Buddhist tale:

The story of Buddhist Master Wonhyo drinking water from a skull was the motive for the design of the skull tea infuser. Wonhyo felt extremely thirsty one night, and drank from a human skull full of brackish water. The truth that he had drunk water from a skull remained unchanged after he learned the truth about the water the next morning; therefore, he realized the truth that everything is created by one's own mind. This product reflects the desire to feel Wonhyo's significant meaning of life and have fun while taking a short time to drink tea in daily life.
