Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission (West Bengal SSM) is recruiting 728 candidates for Block/ ULRC Level "MIS Coordinators" and "Data Entry Operators" on contractual basis initially for a period of one year under the control of District Project Offices, SSM. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format for vacancies available in their respective district. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —



1. MIS COORDINATOR
Number of Vacancies: 364 Nos.
Educational Qualification: BCA  or Equivalent Degree or B.Sc in Computer Science or Graduate with DOEACC 'A' Level from a recognized University/ Institution as a regular student.
Experience: One year experience in the related field.
Computer Knowledge: Candidates will have to sit for a practical test on MS Office and Oracle.

2. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
Number of Vacancies: 364 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary/ Class 12 pass in any stream with at least 50% marks as a regular student.
Computer Knowledge: Candidates must have Computer Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and Bangla. Candidates must have knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Bengali Software, Pagemaker, etc.

Age limit (For all posts): Candidates must be minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/01/2014.

Monthly Consolidated Pay: -
For MIS Co-ordinator: Rs.15000/- per month
For Data Entry Operator (DEO): Rs.11000/- per month

Norms: —

• Candidates must be a resident of the concerned district in which he/she is applying. Each applicant can apply for one block/ urban unit only. 
• Screening will be done on the basis of Bachelor's Degree and Experience of at least one year for the post of MIS Coordinator and for the post of Data Entry Operator, the screening will be on basis of Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and Certificate of computer training covering MS Office. 
• Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Practical test (computer test) and Interview. 

N.B: The total number of vacancies, as mentioned above, are further breaks up into district wise. For district wise vacancies, see the advt. below.

The engagement to the posts are on contractual basis and will be initially for a period of one year only, which may be further extended, if required and on sole discretion of the authority. The vacancies are under the control of District Project Offices, SSM.

Candidates must also enclose one self-addressed envelope with requisite postal stamp on it as well as one additional passport size photograph of the candidate.
