1. Stenographer 04
Qualification 
1. Higher Secondary Pass (12th Standard Pass) or equivalent from a Recognized Board. 2. Speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography(English/Hindi) 3. Working knowledge of Computer including use of office suites and database. 

2. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – 54
Qualification - Degree of a recognized university or equivalent Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database. 

3. Librarian Gr.I – 02
Qualification - Graduate with Degree or Diploma in Library Science ( One Year course after Graduation) of a recognized University or its equivalent. Two years experience in public college, university or departmental library

4. Librarian Gr.II – 02
Qualification - Matriculation with Diploma in Library Science (2 years course after Matriculation).

5. Library Assistant – 08
Qualification - Matriculation with Certificate in Library Science (1 year course after Matriculation)

How to Apply: 

Intending candidates should first register themselves online by visiting the ESIC Karnataka Website www.esickar.gov.in/result.htm. However, before entering the details in the online application  form, the candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready with them:

For the post of Upper Division Clerk and Stenographer, the candidate should submit system  generated hard copy of online application duly signed by the candidate with attested photograph by a Group A or Group B Gazetted Officer, pasted on it and the challan in original duly acknowledged by the bank. (No other documents are required at this stage. Application along with copies of all the testimonials will be called from the successful candidates at the time of Computer Skill Test).

Income Tax Department Recruitment 2013 | 20751 (1349 Indian Revenue Service & 19402 NON-IRS) Vacancies

 IT Department Upcoming Notification 2013  

New Delhi, May 24 (ANI): The Cabinet has approved the proposal for creation of 20,751 additional posts in the Income Tax Department in various cadres.

Of them, 1349 posts will be in the Indian Revenue Services (IRS) cadre and 19,402 posts in the non-IRS cadres.

Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said this will help the Income Tax Department collect more revenue and provide better services to tax payers.


An additional expenditure of Rs. 449.71 crore per annum is likely to be incurred on creation of additional posts and upgradation of some existing posts.

This additional expenditure would be more than compensated by the increased revenue of more than Rs. 25,000 crore per annum proposed to be generated as a result of this exercise.

Applications are invited for filling up of the post of Stenographer Grade III at PROJECT DIRECTORATE ON ANIMAL DISEASE MONITORING AND SURVEILLANCE (PD_ADMAS) Bangalore under the  Administrative Control of ICAR, New Delhi. The details of posts, format etc are given below:


1.      Stenographer Grade III in the pay band-I Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs.2400
Qualification –  Essential : i) 12th Class pass or its equivalent  from a recognized Board or  University ii) Knowledge of computer iii) Professional efficiency Skill Test norms:
The candidates will be given one  dictation test in English or Hindi at  80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The  candidates who opt to take the test  in English will be required to  transcribe the matter in 50 minutes  on computer and the candidates  who opt to take the test in Hindi will  be required to transcribe he matter  in 65 minutes on computer.

Age Limit - 18-27 years. The upper age  is relaxable for  SC/ST/OBC/PHCs and  other bonafide displaced  persons/repatriates of  Indian Origin/Defence Services Personnel/Border  Security  Force personnel  etc., as per the existing instructions of the  Government of India on the  subject. The upper age is  also relaxable upto 45 years  in the case of serving  regular employees of ICAR  in the administrative  (Ministerial category).
