Office of the District Magistrate and District Level Committee, South 24 Parganas is recruiting 59 candidates for the posts of – Facilitator, Accountant, Accounts-cum-Data Manager and Data Manager for Sub-Divisional/ Block Offices and District Head Quarter. The engagement are on contract basis initially for 03yrs. Employment Notification No: M-14022/8/2013/11346. Qualification norms are as follows —



Name of Post and eligibility norms: —

1. Block Level FACILITATOR for Block Offices 
Number of Vacancies: 22 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline and Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Application (one year duration course). Candidates shall have knowledge of Minority, Culture, Madrasah & Wakf matter.
Candidate must be resident of the Block or adjacent Municipality  for which Block applying for.
Remuneration: Rs.10,000/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.

2. ACCOUNTANT for district Head Quarter 
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce with Accountancy Honours and Certificate in Computer Application with working knowledge of Tally, MS Office, spreadsheet, etc.
Candidates must be resident of the South 24 Parganas district.
Remuneration: Rs.15,000/- per month (Consilidated)

3. ACCOUNTS-CUM-DATA MANAGER for district Head Quarter 
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce and Certificate in Computer application with knowledge of MS Office package.
Candidates must be resident of the South 24 Parganas district.
Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- per month (Consilidated)

4. DATA MANAGER for Sub-Divisional Offices
Number of Vacancies: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and certificate in Computer Application with Typing speed of 30 words per minute
Candidates must be resident of the Sub-division for which he/she is applying for.
Remuneration: Rs. 11,000/- per month (Consilidated)

5. DATA MANAGER for Block Offices 
Number of Vacancies: 29 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and Certificate in Computer Application with Typing speed of 30 words per minute
Candidates must be resident of the Block or adjacent Municipality for which Block applying for.
Remuneration: Rs.11,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Desirable Qualification (For all posts): One year or two or three years working experience in the field is desirable.

Age Limit: —
— For the post of Block level Facilitator, the candidate must be minimum 25 years as on 01/01/2013.
— For rest of posts, the candidates must be between 18yrs to 37yrs as on 01/01/2013.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- and others are as per Govt. norms.

The engagement to the above said posts are on contract basis for 03 years duration. The duration of contract period for the post Block Level Facilitator is 01 year.
The contractual period may be extended further on basis of performance of the candidates and/ or on sole discretion of the authority.

Candidates' Selection —
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination of 80 marks and Viva-voce Test of 20 marks. The successful candidates in the written examination will be called for appearing in the Viva-Voce test.
The Written Examination will be through Multiple Choice Question method and there will be NO negative marking. See the below given PDF file for details.
Date and venue of written examination shall be available from 27/12/2013 and from district's website at www.s24pgs.gov.in. Admit card should be downloaded from the website.

The Application form shall be with 02 recent color passport size photograph of the candidate (one to be pasted and self attested in the application form & the other copy, after writing Name and Father's name at the backside, to be stapled with the application form)
DO NOT ENCLOSE OR SEND ANY DOCUMENTS WITH THE APPLICATION FORM.

The duly filled Application form is to be DROPPED IN THE DROP-BOX specifically earmarked for the purpose at respective/adjacent BDO offices within last date of the application, i.e. 13/12/2013.
No Application form will be received by any other means, such as by Post or by hand. 

Superscribe the top of the application containing envelope with "Application for the post of __________ for ___________Block/Sub-Division/District Head quarter". (as the case may be)
