2. Welder (G&E): 59 Nos. (Gen—30; SC—9; ST—4; OBC—16)
3. Machinist: 20 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—5)
4. Painter (G): 10 Nos (Gen—5; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
5. Carpenter: 20 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—5)
6. Electrician: 25 Nos (Gen—13; SC—4; ST—2; OBC—6)

Out of total vacancies, 3% of vacancies are reserved for PH and Ex-Serviceman, their children and children of armed force personal. 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidates must have done ITI in respective Trade, for which they want to apply.

Age Limit: Candidates are to be of 15 to 24 years of age as on 17.06.2013. In case of trades Welder and Carpenter where qualification is 8th class the upper age limit will be 22 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years and 03 years in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively & 10 years for physically handicapped persons.

Essential  Requirement: —
i) Enrollment with Emplopyment Exchange of Punjab is must except for Wards of employees of RCF/Kapurthala.
ii) Only ST Candidates belonging to Himachal Pradesh / Jammu & Kashmir & Uttarakhand are eligible to apply having enrolment with Employment Exchange of their respective States.

Stipend during training period will be as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test. Written test will be held in last week of September /2013. The standard of examination will be ITI. Question paper will be in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages.
The selected candidates will be sent to Technical Training Centre , Rail Coach Factory(Kapurthala) for training in their respective trades for one year in all categories except Carpentry trade where their training is for 02 years.

3. Fireman: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must be physically fit. Candidates must meet the following physical standards —
(i) Height without shoes – 165 cms 
(ii) Chest (un-expanded) – 81.5 cms 
(iii) Chest (on expansation) – 85 cms 
(iv) Weight - 50 Kgs (minimum) 
(v) Endurance test – 
(a) Carrying a man (Fireman lift) of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds. 
(b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump). 
(c) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

4. Gun Fitter: 1 Nos. (General)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and certificate in the trade from recognize Technical Training Institute OR 3rys training or experience of actual work in Government workshop or private firm of repute.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400

5. Safaiwala: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Experience in the work is desirable.

Age Limit: candidates must be between 18yrs to 25yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
