Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan (West Bengal) is recruiting 25 Sportsperson against Sports Quota vacancies in Pay Band-I. Interested and eligible sportsperson may apply on prescribed application format (see below) within last date of the application. Employment Notice No. GMA/MR/Rectt./Sport Quota (O.A.) 2013-14. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

5. Hockey (Women)
— C/ Forward: 01 Nos.
— Defense: 02 Nos.
6. Gymnastic (Women): 02 Nos.
7. Athletic (Men)
— Middle Distance Runner 800/1500: 01 Nos.
8. Archery (Women): 02 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be minimum Madhyamik pass. (See the below given PDF for qualification norms as per Grade Pay wise)

Sports Eligibility: —
Candidates must have represented the State or Country in the State/National or International level Games/ Sports. (See the below given PDF for details)

Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum 18yrs and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2014. There is no age relaxation even for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Pay Band-I : Rs.5200—20200. Grade pay is according to the participating of the candidates in the respective Games/ Sports. (See Advt.)

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply must pay Application Fee of Rs.60/- or Rs.40 (As per Grade pay. See the PDF below.).
The fee is to be paid in form of Indian Postal Order/Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Payable at Chittaranjan.
The SC/ST, ex-servicemen, physically challenged, women, minority candidates (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists & Zorastrians [Parsis]) and candidates belonging to economically backward classes (whose family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) need not pay this fee.

Candidates' Selection: Selection of the candidates will be based upon performance in sports Trial and Interview /Certificate Verification to be conducted and finalized by a nominated selection committee. The venue & date for Trials and Interview/Certificate Verification will be intimated to the eligible candidates.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may submit their Application form on prescribed application format only (The Application form is given in the below PDF file)

The Application form must be enclosed with the copies of Educational Qualification certificate, Sports Achievements, Age proof documents, Caste certificate (if SC/ST/OBC) and etc.
Superscribe the top of the envelope with — "Application against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) Recruitment for the year 2013-14."
