Masters Degree in the subject concerned with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribe and Physically and visually handicapped candidates) or its equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale from an Indian University or equivalent course/degree from an Indian/Foreign University with NET/SLET conducted by the UGC/CSIR/Association of Indian University (AIU)/University of Kashmir/Jammu or Ph.D.

Madhyamik or equivalent plus Trade Certificate under NCTVT from any Govt. ITI under Director of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal in the trade (2 years duration): Electronic Mechanic/ Wireman/Electrician.

Two years Integrated Post Graduate  M.Sc  course  of  Regional  College  of  Education  of NCERT in the Chemistry; OR Master Degree from a  recognised  University  with  atleast  50  %  marks  in aggregrate in the followings subjects : Chemistry / Bio­ Chem. B.Ed  or  equivalent  degree  from  recognised university. Proficiency in teaching in English. Desirable - Knowledge of computer applications.

Degree of a recognized university or equivalent. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database.

Higher Secondary Pass (12th Standard Pass) or equivalent from a Recognized Board. Speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography (English/ Hindi). Working knowledge of Computer including use of office suites and database.

B Pharm with 60% from recognized University / Institutes.
