Border Security Force (BSF) is recruiting 1436 Constable (Tradesmen) in various trades – Cobbler, Tailor, Carpenter, Cook, Waterman, Sweeper, Waiter, Mali, Khoji, Kahar and Etc. Educational Qualification:
Madhyamik pass or equivalent and 2 years of work experience in the respective trades
OR
One year Certificate course in respective trade from ITI/ Vocational Institute with atleast one year experience in the trade.
OR
Two years Diploma from ITI in the respective or similar Trade. No experience required.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01-08-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Physical Standards:
Height—167.5 cms (162.5 cms for ST of all States/UT) 
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—78/83 cms (76/81 cms for ST of all States/UT)
Weight (For all) —As per medical standard according to height and age.
Vision (For all)—Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes with correction.

N.B:  Cut-off in Height and Chest for hill area candidates and hilly States is as per norms. See the below link for details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates' Selection:
Selection will be through — (i) Height bar test, (ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), (iii)Physical Standard Test (PST), (iv)Trade Test, (v) Written Test and (vi) Medical Examination.
Date and venue of examination will be informed to the eligible candidates through Admit card.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- in form of Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of  Concerned IG/DIG/ Commandant payable at bank of concerned Headquarter, under which their State falls (See the below link)

For candidates from WEST BENGAL, the IPO/ DD must be prepared in favour ofIG BSF South Bengal and payable at – SBI Service Branch, Kolkata, Code No.8554

No Application Fee for SC.ST and Ex-servicemen.

The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials in support of – Qualification, Age, Caste, Domicile certificate, Trade Certificate/ Experience and Etc.
Application form must be also enclosed with One self-addressed envelope (23x10cms) affixed with postal stamp of Rs.5/-

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is going to conduct the Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination—2013 for screening candidates for the Main Examination for recruitment of 309 posts/ services in various departments of Assam. The preliminary examination will be held at different centres in the State (see the Advt.) whereas main examination will be held in Guwahati only.
Exact date of Main Examination will be notified in due course

Examination Fee (For Preliminary Examination only): Rs.50/- for General/OBC and other candidates AND Rs.25/- for SC/ST candidates.
The fee is to be deposited through e-Challan with State Bank of India. Fee challan is to be print-out from the commission's website.

Candidates will require to upload their photo and signature during the application process.
On successfully uploading their photo and signature, the candidate should 'Submit' the Application Form.

All these print-outs must be retained safely for future use. There is no need to send any hard copy to the commission.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC UP) is going to conduct Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination – 2013 (For General and Special/ Backlog Rectt.). PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, U.P. INVITES APPLICATION FOR COMBINED LOWER SUBORDINATE SERVICES EXAMINATION —2013. LAST DATE—21/09/2013

The U.P Public Service Commission will hold the Preliminary Examination at various centres of the Districts for selecting suitable candidates for admission to the Main Examination, 2013 regarding the posts included in General/ Special Recruitment.
The date of Examination will be notified in due course

Numbers of Vacancies: 1200 (Approx) for General Recruitment and 10 Nos. for Special/ Backlog Recruitment for Physically handicapped.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.

Upper age relaxation is applicable for the candidates of U.P. States only. SC/ST/OBC Candidates from other States may apply as General candidates.

Examination Fee: Candidates willing to apply must pay Examination Fee of Rs.115/- (Rs.55/- for SC/ST candidates).
No Application Fee for PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
