Number of Vacancies: 8 Nos. in the discipline of HR (Human Resources)
Educational Qualification: Full time MBA/ MSW/ Equivalent PG Course with minimum 65% of marks/ equivalent Grade.

N.B: Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/PWD candidates will be as per Presidential directives.

Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 01-07-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs and Others - As per norms.

Candidates' Selection:
Selection will be through Written Test and Interview. The candidates short-listed in the written test shall only be eligible to appear for interview.
The Written Test will comprise of two sections — (i) Technical section comprising of 100 questions related to qualifying degree for the position and (ii) General Aptitude section comprising of 50 questions covering Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Reasoning and English Language.

The duration of test will be two hours. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. The test will be in English language.
Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be required to appear for an interview and the intimation for interview will be given to the candidates through e-mail.

The written test is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in 1st week of October, 2013 and will hold at following Centre — Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi, Secunderabad and Vadodara.

After successful submission of Online Application (Step-I Basic Registration Details), the system will generate a Registration Number. Candidates must note it down.
Through this generated Registration Number and candidates' Date of Birth, the candidate can login the website and can print-out the "Pay-in-Slip" for payment of Registration Fee of Rs.300/- (Only for General and OBC candidates).

Registration Fee: General and OBC candidates are require to download the "Pay-in-Slip" after submitting the "Basic Registration Details" form. Through this Pay-in-Slip, candidates must approach any branches of State Bank of India, and may deposit the fee of Rs.330/- in a specially opened account (No. 32298420483) (Branch Code: 09996).
The SC / ST / PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number, Branch Name and Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number, branch name and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during "Final Registration" stage.
At "Final Registration" of the form, candidates will also require to upload their scan image of Signature and Passport size photograph (See the below link for details).

After final submission of the form, the candidates are required to take the print-out of the system generated form for records and future use.
There is no need to send any hard-copy to EIL.

On successful completion of training, these candidates will be absorbed in the pay scale of Rs. 15500— Rs. 34500/- (W7 grade).
The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of the training.

Candidates' Selection:
NTPC Ltd will hold an All India Test which is scheduled to be held on 17.11.2013 (in Hindi or English).
The test will be in two parts. Part-I will be Knowledge Test and will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions of respective discipline. Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning.
